It is also about shaping and owning a data governance solution that ensures that the high-quality data standards reached through the program will continue during business as usual . ensuring a smooth and successful implementation and subsequent successful runs of a test solution for the new SAP S4 centered ERP solution This position will report to the SAP Program Manager and may include the following responsibilities Key responsibilities include:In partnership with the Information Technology Leadership and other Information Technology Advisors/Consultants, this role will have direct responsibilities across the Global Business Service IT for:Data Ensures that the objectives defined for Elanco master and transactional data will be reached: Engages with the business stakeholders (like process leads) to understand the Elanco business processes and its data requirements on a certain level as a prerequisite for managing them. Creates in collaboration with the system integrator the data migration strategy and processes. Drives together with the business the establishment of transformation rules for data conversions. In cooperation with the system integrator leads data dry runs and tests data cutover portion. Provides together with the system integrator converted data in support of testing, training and cutover execution. Defines and establish approaches for assessing data quality in collaboration with system integrator and business. Understands the key data conversion rules and models. Ensures with the Elanco business that data cleansing in the legacy system is executed according to the requirements and is meeting the project timelines. Manages Elanco data approvers throughout the sign-off process during testing and cut-over execution. Supports system integrator in performing progress reporting of data migration results and manages the process on the Elanco site. Supports the system integrator by facilitating data migration meetings Defines in cooperation with the system integrator defect resolution process during mock loads. Ensures low cost of ownership, good functional coverage and user acceptance when selecting the required software to support test execution and potentially test automation (tbc). Testing Ensures that the testing approach defined, the test software selected, and the test scenarios and cases defined will meet the overall Elanco business and IT objectives: Engages with the business stakeholders (like process leads) to understand the Elanco business processes as a prerequisite for testing them. Manages the system integrator to reach the agreed project testing targets in terms of quality and time. Defines together with the system integrator testing strategy, standards, guidelines, testing methodology, and the tools and ensures that the specific Elanco business requirements are considered and incorporated into the test phases. Plans in alignment with the system integrator different test phases and ensures that the specific Elanco business requirements are considered and incorporated into the test phases. Defines in cooperation with the system integrator the defect tracking process and incorporates. Manages Elanco testers throughout test plan development and test execution. Minimum of Bachelor s Degree in Business Management ,Information Technology or similar area. Minimum 3 years SAP design and broad business process experience in life sciences plus in detail data migration and data management experience that led to influencing the performance of a data migration approaches using Information Technology. Minimum two program life cycles experience as a data migration manager with good experience in the above-mentioned areas. Minimum one program life cycle experience as a test manager with good experience in the above-mentioned areas. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
